Rent a scooter ($7-10 per day) for flexibility exploring Krabi, or use songthaews (shared pickup trucks, $1-2 per trip) and taxis ($10-20 between main areas). Most island tours include hotel pickup from Ao Nang and Krabi Town. The distance between Ao Nang and Krabi Town is about 20 minutes by vehicle. For Wat Tham Suea, located 9 km from Krabi Town, arrange transport through your hotel or rent a scooter. Longtail boats for island tours and mangrove trips are easily booked through tour operators or directly at beaches and piers.
